The apartment is on the first floor, accessed from a straight flight of steps from the community road.

Arriving at the top of the steps there is the first of the 25m² terraces with north, east and south aspects. This terrace takes the sun from the morning until mid afternoon.

The main entrance door leads you to the open plan living dining room. It is a bright room with thanks to the patio doors leading to the terrace, and a window in the dining area that brings in extra light.

Moving further into the apartment along a central hallway, there is a fully fitted kitchen to the left and bathroom to the right.

At the end of the hallway is the bedroom with fitted wardrobes and patio doors leading to the second of the large terraces with north, east and west aspects, that takes afternoon sun.

The property has undergone major refurbishment including:
- Decoration - The property has been decorated throughout internally.
- Bathroom - Remodelled with a new shower base, rain shower head and screen, basin, vanity unit and accessories.
- Kitchen - Remodelled with new work tops, crockery, cutlery, glasses and utensils.
- Bedroom - New king size bed with new pillows bedding and towels. Air conditioning and a ceiling fan have also been installed.
- Terraces - They have been furnished with tables, chairs, sun loungers and sofas.
At the time of updating this page (22/01/2024) there is still a bit of work to be done externally but this should be completed by 17th February 2024.

Other items that have been added:
- A drinking water filter system has been fitted in the kitchen to save buying and carrying plastic containers from the supermarket and is also kinder to the environment.
- Wi-fi is 300mb fibre optic.
- A security safe.
- A flat screen smart television with free to air Spanish channels and a comprehensive package of UK channels.

As with our other rental apartment, “The Beach House”, it is the little extras that make our properties a cut above the others, so should you wish to play a game of petanque then there will be a set of boules available, as well as a shopping trolley to make your trip to Consum a little easier if you do not have a car. A cold box, parasol and beach mats will also be available for you to use.

A complimentary Welcome Pack is included and all guests will be met and shown into the property and around the urbanization.

About the resort

The Bahia de Vera resort is low rise and has vehicle access to be able to unload your car and then park in the generous off road parking areas.

The Bahia de Vera development benefits a large outdoor swimming pool with free sun beds and parasols, covered indoor pool heated to a lovely 32°C through the winter months, a communal social room / library with free Wi-fi, table tennis table, tennis court and is only 200 metres from the beach.

In the locality there are several bars and restaurants which are open all year round and many more to chose from during the long summer season; a “high street” brand supermarket; and bus routes to Mojácar, Vera and surrounding areas.

Airport transfers to Almería and Murcia are approximately 60 and 80 minutes respectively and Alicante at around 2 hours.

Arrivals/departures between 20:00 and 08:00 will incur an extra charge of 15 Euros.
